How To Fix Language Bar Missing from Taskbar in Windows 10 [2 Fixes]

How Can I Add Language to My Taskbar?

If you want to add language to your taskbar, there are a few steps you need to follow. First, open the Control Panel and go to the Clock, Language, and Region section. Next, click on Change display language.

A new window will pop up and you can select which language you want to add from the drop-down menu. Finally, click on the Apply button and then OK. Your taskbar should now be in the language you selected!

How Do I Get My Language Bar Back in Windows 10?

If you’re missing the language bar in Windows 10, it’s likely because your system is configured to use a different input method. To get the language bar back, you’ll need to change your input settings. Here’s how:

1. Open the Control Panel. 2. Go to Language. 3. Under “Input languages,” click on the “Change keyboard” button.

Why My Taskbar Does Not Show Language?

If you’re wondering why your taskbar doesn’t show the language icon, there are a few possible explanations. First, it’s possible that the icon is simply hidden. To check if this is the case, right-click on the taskbar and select “properties.”

Then, under the “notification area” section, click on “customize.” You should see a list of all the icons that can be shown in the notification area; if the language icon is listed here but isn’t currently showing, simply click on it and select “show.” Another possibility is that your computer doesn’t have a multilingual capability and therefore can’t display the language icon.

This likely isn’t the case if you’re using Windows 10, but if you’re using an older version of Windows or another operating system altogether, it could be worth checking. To do this, open up Control Panel and search for “language.” Under the ” Clock, Language, and Region” heading, click on ” change location .”

If there’s only one option listed here (usually just English), then your computer doesn’t support multiple languages and therefore can’t display the language icon in the taskbar. Finally, it’s also possible that you simply don’t have any languages selected as active input methods. To check this, go back into Control Panel > Clock , Language , and Region > Language .

Underneath where it says “Choose a default language,” make sure at least one language is selected; if not , add one by clicking on “+ Add a language .” Once you’ve done this , restart your computer and see if the language icon appears in your taskbar .

Language Bar Missing from Taskbar Windows 11

If you’re using Windows 11 and your language bar is missing from the taskbar, there are a few things you can try to get it back. First, make sure that the Language Bar option is enabled in the Control Panel. To do this, go to Start > Control Panel > Clock, Language, and Region > Change keyboard or other input methods.

Under “Language Bar,” check to see if the “Show the Language bar on the desktop” option is selected. If that doesn’t work, you can try restarting your computer. Sometimes Windows just needs a fresh start in order to display the language bar correctly.

Finally, if neither of those solutions works, you can try reinstalling your language packs. Go to Start > Control Panel > Clock, Language, and Region > Change keyboard or other input methods again. This time, under “Keyboards and Languages,” click on “Change keyboards.”

Make sure that all of the languages you want to use are selected under “Installed services,” then click OK. This will reinstall all of your language files and hopefully get the language bar appearing on your taskbar once again.

Conclusion

Adding language to your taskbar is a great way to customize your Windows 10 experience. To add a language, first open the Settings app by clicking the Start button and then selecting the cog icon. In the settings menu, click on “Time & Language”.

On the next page, select “Region & Language” from the left-hand menu. On the Region & Language page, click on “+ Add a language”. A list of languages will appear.

Find the language you want to add and click on it. Once you’ve selected a language, click on “Next” and then “Install”. The new language will be added to your taskbar!
