1. Play with a pro player
Apex Legends is more fun when you are playing with people that you know. The ping system makes it easier for you to communicate with your teammates. It allows you to communicate without using the microphone.
You can ping on the loot that you find on the map and don’t need for your squad to pick. Ping on every enemy you spot on the battlefield to help your teammates know the best route to use, where to hide, or how to attack. You can also use ping to show your teammates where you are going to loot.
To become better at Apex Legends, you need to have a pro in your squad. Someone who will share tips and tricks and also give you strategies that you can use on the battlefield.
If none of your friends is playing Apex Legends or none of them is a pro in this game, you can find friendly and highly experienced players that are willing to help you become a pro at Apex Coaching. Apex Pro coaching is the best way to improve and become better at Apex Legends in the shortest time possible.
2. Holster your weapon to move faster
Being locked out of the ever-shrinking circle means the end of your game. Keeping your weapon drawn is great as you never know when you will need it, but that isn’t always the case. Holstering your weapon when trying to stay in the ever-shrinking battlefield will give you a little speed boost that may help save your life.
Apex Legend also doesn’t have fall damage. No matter where you are falling from, you will safely land on the ground. You can take advantage of the no-fall damage feature to move faster.
Instead of walking, Apex Legends pros slide when moving down a slope. Sliding helps you move faster and also makes you more compact and harder for your enemies to hit you. Hold either A or D to slide forward or strafe-slide.
When engaged by enemies and you need to reposition, consider sliding backward. Apex Legends allow you to slide uphill and backward for a short distance. You can also hold the jump button to jump to higher places that look like they are out of reach.
3. Don’t take a fight if you don’t have armor
Just like in other battle royale games, it is important not to engage in a fight before recharging your body armor. If you find yourself in a shootout before grabbing armor, let your teammates that have armor be on the front line as you try to escape together.
4. Revive a fallen teammate
When one of your teammates’ health drops to zero, they will die and be unable to play. You can help get your fallen teammates back into the game. To begin the process of reviving your teammate, approach them, and then hold down X/Square for 5 or 6 seconds. Doing that will bring your friend back into the game.
If you can’t manage to revive your friend, he or she will die and leave behind a crate. You can still help your friend get back into the game. To do this, approach the crate they leave behind and press X/Square to recover to pick the deceased player’s banner.
When you have the banner with you, find a Respawn Beacon and approach it and then hold down X/Square for about 7 seconds to start reviving your teammate. The revived teammate will be dropped into the battlefield via a plane but without any weapon or equipment.
