Whatsapp is one of the best messenger applications, that allows the users to share images, audio- and video files, and also exchange audio and video calls on their mobile phones.
It was first developed for iOS, and later, a version was developed for the android operating system also. One may think that having a mobile phone is mandatory to use Whatsapp as a phone is needed to create and verify the account. This assumption is right in most cases.
However, you can use Whatsapp on your PC via the official “Whatsapp Web” service. This allows you to use your account on your PC.
But for this, you’ll need to have your phone on and connected to the internet. Whatsapp Web just allows you to mirror the account you already have on your phone to your PC.
How To Use Whatsapp On PC Without Mobile Phone?
You may wonder if there’s any way to use Whatsapp on PC without a mobile phone, and yes, there are actually many ways to use Whatsapp on PC without needing a mobile phone.
In this article, I’ll be taking you through the easiest way to use Whatsapp on PC without a mobile phone.
First of all, Whatsapp is a phone-based messenger system, and Whatsapp Web is the only legitimate way to have Whatsapp on PC.
This is because you can’t create a Whatsapp account for your PC, as you need a phone number to verify a Whatsapp account, and your PC doesn’t have one.
Secondly, your PC has neither the android operating system nor iOS, and so you cannot use the mobile version of the app.
The solution which I consider to be easiest, in this case, is to use an emulator that mimics the android operating system and lets you download the phone-based applications.
“BlueStacks” and “Andy” are the two android emulators that I’d recommend. I’ll be explaining the use of “BlueStacks” in this article in the following steps.
Step 1: Open the web browser on your PC and visit bluestacks.com.
Step 2: Download the Bluestacks file by clicking on the download option appearing on the top right corner of the page.
Step 3: Once the download is complete, open the downloaded file and install it on your PC.
Step 4: After installation, open the BlueStacks app by clicking on the icon.
Step 5: After opening the Bluestacks application, you’ll see a list of popular apps, and you should find Whatsapp on that list. If not, search for Whatsapp by typing in the search bar.
Step 6: After finding Whatsapp, click on the install button. This will download and then install Whatsapp on your PC.
Step 7: After the installation is complete, open the Whatsapp application on your PC.
Step 8: Once Whatsapp is up and running on your PC, you’ll be asked to create a Whatsapp account. To create a Whatsapp account, you’ll need to enter a phone number.
After entering the phone number, you’ll be asked to enter a verification code that is sent to the number you entered.

This is the tricky part. We get stuck on the question, “Is there a way to create an account without a phone number?”
The answer is, “Yes!” You just need to put your land phone number in, and when asked how to verify the account, choose the option “Call me”.
After this, you’ll receive a call on the number you provided with an automated message from Whatsapp that tells you a six-digit verification code. Note down the code.
Step 9: Enter the verification code on your PC, and your account is created.
Now, enjoy your Whatsapp account! Check whether everything is functional or not by chatting with any of your contacts.
